Privacy Policy

Last updated 23 October 2026

This policy explains what the Telecommunications Compensation Fund collects when you use this site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

How we use it

To open and review your claim, to confirm that the person behind a claim is the real account holder rather than an automated or third-party sign-up, to pursue a supported claim with the provider it is against, to release payouts, to answer support requests, and to improve the service. Where a claim is pursued, the details necessary to identify the account are shared with the provider the claim is against.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your name or email address with anyone other than where it is necessary to pursue your own claim or where the law requires it.

Cookies and local storage

This site stores your claim number and your progress through the claim in your browser's local storage, so that a page refresh does not lose it. Clearing your browser data clears it.

Your choices

You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to the support address below and we will respond within 30 days. Asking us to delete your information closes any open claim with it.

Children

This service is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
